Dr. Krishna Pokuri is an anesthesiologist and interventional pain physician in the Department of Anesthesiology at Boston Medical Center. Dr. Pokuri is also Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Albany Medical Center and his bachelor's degree from Union College. He completed his residency at Tufts Medical Center and trained as an interventional pain management fellow at Yale Medical Center.  Dr. Pokuri’s clinical interests include imagine guided injections/procedures, neuromodulation, and regenerative medicine and artificial intelligence with a particular focus in degenerative spine and joint conditions. Passionate about academic medicine, Dr. Pokuri also contributes to resident education and ongoing clinical research to advance the field of pain management.
