Dizziness, problems with balance, tendency to fall, hearing loss, and ringing in the ears are among the most common problems that lead people to see an otolaryngologist. BMC's Dizziness and Balance Center evaluates and helps manage conditions that cause these symptoms, working with a wide range of specialists across the hospital.

Clinicians in the Dizziness and Balance Center conduct research under the Boston University Hearing Research Center. This multidisciplinary center aims to develop and disseminate knowledge that will improve the nation's auditory health and allow the fullest utilization of the sense of hearing.
